In southwest China there are more than 50 minority nationalities.
Their traditions and customs are very colorful and exotic.
Each nationality dresses in its own gorgeous costumes and ornaments,
and each celebrates its own variety of festivals.
Paying a visit to these villages, you will enjoy watching the minority
women making handicrafts, embroidering, weaving,
spinning and wax-printing. You can buy the fantastic crafts, taste
the local dishes and take part in traditional entertainments.
Most of our inland tours are by bus. Hotels are basic, with comfortable
and clean lodging but no fancy five-star amenities.
Local English-speaking guides are excellent.
